Childhood Developmental Assessments

Childhood Developmental Assessments are offered for infants from 1 month to age 2.  The Denver Developmental Assessment is the measurement tool most often used by the Registered Nurses trained in this assessment.  Developmental Specialists of Southeastern Illinois, Inc. are also available twice a month to offer the Battelle Inventory.

We encourage, and help to schedule, well child visits with the child’s medical provider at recommended intervals, for children seen in all programs.

Home visits for high risk infants (those identified by area hospitals for the Adverse Pregnancy Outcome Referral Service [APORS] are completed by nurses in the Family Case Management Program.
