Food Sanitation & Safety Course

The Illinois Department of Public Health requires each food service establishment to be under the operational supervision of a resident managerial person who has been certified in food service sanitation.

Frontier Community College will be offering the following Sanitation & Safety course during the summer 2008 session:

 

RST 1201 - Sanitation & Safety - 2 semester hours - Wednesday - (6-11-08 to 7-30-08) 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Frontier Community College - Classroom Building West Room 103 - Fairfield, Illinois, Leslie Robinson, instructor.

FIRST CLASS MEETING - June 11, 2008

 

RST 1201 - Sanitation & Safety - 2 semester hours - Thursday - (6-12-08 to 7-31-08) 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. - Frontier Community College - Clay County Health Department - Flora, Illinois, Annette Troutt, Instructor

RST 1201 - Sanitation & Safety - 3 semester hours - Lisa Fieber, Instructor - Textbook Fee $97.80

 

The cost for the course is $60 per semester hour for tuition.  There will also be a $10 admission fee if a student has never taken a class through Illinois Eastern Community Colleges.

Successful certification shall be achieved by completing an examination offered by the Illinois Department of Public Health and paying a $35 certificate fee to the state.  The examination, which is free of charge, will be given at the last meeting.
