Nuisance Control

The purpose of this program is to investigate complaints and secure elimination of environmental health hazards in cooperation with other local, state and federal agencies. 

The health department administers the nuisance control program under the authority of Chapter 55 ILCS 5/5-25001 and a county ordinance.
